1. What can I do on a Give in Celebration page?
When creating a page you can:
- Write your own message about your celebration and why you are supporting Cancer Research UK. This will be displayed to everyone visiting the page.
- Pick one of our exciting themes to match your celebration.
- Add your own photo(s) or video(s) or select one of ours.
- Maintain complete control over what information is displayed on your page.
- You can also download notification cards requesting guests to make a donation instead of giving presents. These can be placed at your event or inserted in your invitations.
2. How long does it take to create a page?
It should only take about five minutes to create your page. The process is broken down into a few simple steps.
Please note that Cancer Research UK retains full editorial control over the material published on this website and may edit or remove content when it is deemed appropriate to do so.
3. How do I tell my guests about my page?
Just log into your administration area where you can email your guests using our email templates or simply just paste the link to your page into your own email or add it to your social network profile.
You can also download printed notification cards to include with your invitations, or to hand out at your event, so that your guests can make a donation in lieu of gifts.
4. How do my guests donate?
There are three ways that your family and friends can make a donation:
- Donate online using a credit or debit card
- Donate by telephone by calling our Supporter Services team on 0300 123 1863 and donate using a credit or debit card.
- Send us a cheque with a completed donation form. As the page creator, you can download these from within the administration area of this site.
5. Can I change the page later?
Yes - once your page is published you can log in to change:
- Your message, photos and other personal content
- Send more emails to friends and family
- View messages that friends have left
- Extend the length of time that the page stays published after your celebration
- Close the page early
- Change your password, email address and personal details
6. What about security?
You will be using a secure connection to create your page and a password-protected account will be set up for you to make any changes.
7. How long is the delivery time for wedding favours?
Please give us at least 28 days before your big day so we can ensure you get your favours on time.
We will prioritise all our orders by celebration date to ensure they arrive on time. So if you have been organised and ordered your favours months in advance we might send yours a little closer to your wedding day while we send out favours for the upcoming weddings. 8. Can I use favours for other celebrations?
Yes of course you can, whatever the occasion our favours make a wonderful keepsake of the day. You can personalise your favours cards to match your celebration. Just remember to give us at least 28 day for delivery.
9. What size are the personalised favours cards?
Once folded, your favours cards are 7.4cm wide and 5.2cm tall.
